About Nina
Rock girl Nina Söderquist has collaborated with world stars from Scorpions, Deep Purple, Europe and gigs every year at Sweden Rock Festival. She is heard daily as one of the presenters on the radio channel Rockklassiker.
Nina has been called London's musical queen and praised by the world press for her success in London's West End when she played the lead role in Monty Python's musical SPAMALOT.
She has toured with Björn Skifs and BADROCK, Rocked arenas around the world with Rhapsody in Rock and several ROCK & QUEEN tours. Nina has appeared in several international talk shows such as "BBC Morning Show" and "Alan Titchmarsh show" in the UK with 40 million viewers. Here in Sweden we have been able to see her in, among other things, Allsång på Skansen, Så ska det låta (5 seasons), Melodifestivalen, Tack för musiken and Bingolotto.
In 2009 she participated in the Melodifestivalen with the song "Tick Tock".
Nina is a field artist. As a singing Captain, she is hired by the Swedish Armed Forces to maintain the Swedish forces nationally and internationally. During her 15 active years, Nina has been to Afghanistan, Somalia, Liberia, Kosovo & Mali.
In the summer of 2016, Nina worked with Björn Skifs, Sanne Salomonsen, Lisa Nilsson, Tommy Nilsson, Mats Ronander in the legendary BADROCK. Björn had previously sung a duet with Nina in SVT's "thank you for the music" and stuck to the fantastic artist. Nina & Björn Skifs have also released a duet "GOODBYE" written by Nina.
2020 Nina released the song "BREATHE" with rock colleagues Mickey Dee (Scorpions), Jona Tee (HEAT), Tommy Johansson (Sabaton), Rasmus Ehrnborn (Soilwork) & Linus Sundvall (2 shy lips). This was a charity project "Hang In There" where the profits went to elderly care during the covid-19 pandemic.
